Details: Jericho Road Ministries' Mission Statement: To lovingly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the economically, emotionally and spiritually impoverished by responding to their basic physical and emotional needs and by promoting Christian growth as characterized by a productive and changed life. Jericho Road Ministries offers a wide variety of services to those in need of assistance in the community. Jericho Road Ministries took another leap of faith and opened the doors of its food bank in June 2009. The Barn at Jericho Food Ministry, provides food to needy residents of Hernando County. Anyone in need of food assistance can visit The Barn Monday and Friday between the hours of 9 am and noon bringing a photo ID. The Food Bank is located at 1163 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, directly behind our Women’s Shelter. Food donations are welcomed and needed and may be delivered to the Food Bank during opening hours. Anyone wanting to donate food after noon Monday to Friday may drop the items off at our Administration Office located on the same premises up to 4 pm. |

Details: The Salvation Army Hernando County Corps (Formerly the Brooksville Corps) was moved to 15464 Cortez Blvd. Brooksville, FL. 34613 under the leadership of Captains Tim & Denise Williford. Since then we have been passionately serving the people of Hernando County. We thank the community for the generous giving that has made this a possibility! Since we opened our doors we have had a long list of Volunteers, Employees, and Corps Officers who have made a difference in our community. We are grateful for every one of those who have contributed to the mission of The Salvation Army; we invite you to join us as we continue this mission today! Food Pantry Distribution: Tuesdays from 9:00 AM through 3:00 PM, with a 30 minutes lunch break at noon; Bread and Sweets: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM through 12:00 PM, and from 1:00 PM through 3:00 PM. Also on Fridays from 9:00 AM through 1:00 PM. |
